The idea of The Nashville Experience comes from a love of food, travel, music, art and an overall passion for life. After having been in the hospitality & restaurant business for over 20 years I decided to share my passion for Nashville and show you why it’s such a great place to live and visit.

Over the years I found that many visitors knew of the obvious things in Nashville but didn’t know about so many of our special places and I found that to be the case with many locals as well. That is when I decided to get the information about the “real” Nashville out there for the world to know about. People are always pleasantly surprised at how much they never knew about this great city.

Over the years I’ve had the good fortune to travel around most of the United States and a few years ago visited Germany for three weeks. So the passion for adventure and new experiences just comes naturally. At an early age I began to enjoy different types of food, meeting interesting people, listening to and appreciating a wide variety of music. I have found that you must keep a bit of an edge in your spirit, stay wild in the heart and never let the heart or spirit of a child get lost in your daily routine. Be sure to always see things with a sense of wonder and joy.

I enjoy going out and seeing the attractions of through the eyes of someone who has never experienced it before. Going out to listen to music, visit an art gallery or museum shouldn’t be something that only visitors or tourists do. I strongly encourage you to get out and see all the people, places and things that make Nashville such a magical place.

When traveling I always enjoyed knowing as much as possible about the place I’m going to visit while still being spontaneous a little bit. I want to share with you all what Nashville is all about while still encouraging you to take a few chances and live in the moment.

I think whatever you think Nashville is will be partially true but not the whole story or truth. Take country music for example, it is what we are known for the most but it isn’t the only music we have and it isn’t even our largest industry. What is the largest industry in Nashville? There are many surprises when it comes to knowing all about Nashville and that is where we come in. We will be your guide and show you our city and give you a look deep into its heart and help you get its true flavor.
